Avatar the Last Airbender Live Action Update

So, my friend just sent me a picture of the kid that is to be Aang in the M. Night Shyamalan production of Avatar: the Last Airbender. I knew the kid was not Asian, but this is not what I expected either.

Okay, I do not doubt that this kid knows his martial arts and I am sure he is awesome, but I have a hard time taking in the fact that he is NOT ASIAN! Yeah you know everyone in Avatar was some kind of Asian looking people. As my friend observed:

Air nomads - Tibetan Monks

Earth Nation- Mongols

Water tribe - Inuits

Fire Nation - Chinese

How is Caucasian part of it?! Just because Asian is in CaucASIAN does that mean it is the same. Shall we compare this to Dragonball?!

Just because Goku is blonde when he Super Saiyan's doesn't mean he is not Asian. There are plenty of blonde Asians out there and I have seen them.

At least the fire nation....is part of...Asia. Because India is there and Dev Patel is...an Indian Zuko.

Feel the flames guys. He is doing it for the HONOR!

And here are the people he leads...is that ANOTHER Caucasian guy is see there to the right?! What IS this!? And where is your scar Zuko?! And how about the season 1 hair or the top knot?! you jumped into season 3 hair right there?!

Overall, I have lowered expectations for this movie. I mean...it HAS to be better than Dragonball, Street Fighter, and Mortal Kombat...RIGHT?!
